lighter cookie recipe

Again, this is lighter, not really light. But they are lower calorie than fudge and taste just as delicious!

Ingredients: 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 3/4 cup white chocolate chips 1 1/2 cups rice krispies 1/3 cup slivered almonds 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions: Melt chocolate in microwave 45 seconds. Stir. Heat another 45 seconds until almost melted. Stir until smooth. Add cereal, almonds and vanilla and stir until all crispies are coated. Drop by tablespoon onto wax paper coated cookie sheet and chill 30 minutes until firm.

Yields: 36 small crips. approximately 65 calories per crisp (when I made them, only 24 came out so if this happens to you, they are closer to 100 calories per cookie but worth every calorie if can eat just one or two!)
