frozen food find

Those of you who read my blog regularly know that i’m not much of a cook (sorry Mom.) So i’m always on the look out for tasty and healthy frozen foods. All the Chinese food that i’ve found in the past has rice or noodles so I was pleasantly surprised to find TAI PEI products at my local grocery store. They come in cute packages that look like chinese take-out and you simply microwave for 7 1/2 minutes. They make a perfect lunch (keep in fridge at work) or light dinner. I tried the General Tso’s Spicy Chicken and it was tasty and LOADED with veggies. 1 serving = 1 container (yeah) = 210 calories = 3 ounces protein, 2 vegetable servings and maybe 1/3 starch since they put sugar in the sauce. I haven’t tried the other flavors yet but i’m looking forward to them. I hope you can find them in the frozen section of YOUR grocery store – if not, maybe you could request it!
